Water is the best way to stay hydrated, so even if you’re drinking other fluids you’ll want to make sure your water intake is high. 

You’ll also want to keep your sodium consumption to a low. Sodium can dehydrate you and reverse the replenishing effects that water can have. Say no to salt-heavy foods, sauces, and salad dressing, instead opting for low-sodium alternatives. 

Eat A Balanced Diet 

Eating well can help protect your body from a myriad of things – and kidney stones are just one of them! Make sure you’re eating a diet that isn’t too heavily focused on animal products and includes ample amounts of fruits, veggies, and nuts.
